Samara, Russia
50 sq.m

Reconstruction of the premises with adaptation for a creative workshop in the historical center of Samara.

Rhythm, high ceilings, floor beams, textured brick walls-these are the elements that inspired us when designing and that formed the basis of the concept.

The area of 51 sq. m. is divided functionally into a work and recreation area. The latter is an elongated structure with a rhythmic lattice facade. It hides radiators and also serves as a bench.

The work area includes a storage system that organizes the space and is its core. It is tied to the rhythm of the beams and the height of the window openings, which sets 2 levels, open and closed. This unit also has a bathroom, a wardrobe, shelves, a sideboard and flows smoothly into the recreation area, forming a single volume.

We have reduced the number of finishing materials in order to maintain the emphasis on the textured brick wall and for a holistic perception of the space. The hall is also designed for various events and lectures.
